7-8 page paper using 2-3 critical sources analyzing gender in a cultural artifact. This paper must have an argument. The paper should provide a unique and compelling reading of the artifact(gender reveal parties) using theoretical and analytical apparatus from a scholarly article. Close attention should be paid to the specifics of the artifact (the words on the page, the dialogue being said/sung, the construction of the image, whatever), as well as the sociological/historical/ideological construct of the dynamics that you are addressing.
