Current Event Expectations

Current Event issues impact the American and Global History every day. Part of this course is preparing to be an opportunistic globally connected citizen. The goal of this assignment is to help you understand your role among those issues as they are happening, and what they mean for your life. FORMAT: Multiple Paragraphs (i.e. opening, body paragraphs, conclusion) Work Cited and MLA Style Format and Citations No more than 1 direct quote, which should not be longer than 2 lines Summarize the article briefly YOU MUST provide your opinion/interpretation of the event. What does it mean to you? What do you think?  Prepare 3 discussion questions for the class, even if you are not presenting the questions must be included in your paper.
